# Shipping & Collection Policy (Central Coast)
**Effective date:** 25 March 2026
This policy applies to orders placed with **Timber Coast Customs** for local collection and local delivery.
## Local Collection (Free) — Central Coast
**Cost:** Free
**Where:** Central Coast, NSW (collection address provided in your confirmation / ready-for-collection message)
**How it works**
- Collection is **by appointment only** (so we can have your piece ready and safely accessible).
- Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you to **book a pickup time**.
- Please bring:
- Your order confirmation (digital is fine), and
- A suitable vehicle/trailer and tie-downs for safe transport.
**Loading**
- We will assist where possible, but you are responsible for ensuring the item is safely loaded and secured for transport.
## Local Delivery (Flat Rate $70) — Central Coast
**Cost:** $70 flat fee per order
**Area:** Central Coast, NSW (local delivery zone)
**Delivery scheduling**
- After your order is ready, we’ll contact you to arrange a **delivery date/time window**.
- Delivery times are typically scheduled during business hours (unless otherwise arranged).
**Delivery method (standard)**
- Standard delivery includes delivery to your **front entrance / ground-level access point**.
- For large/heavy pieces, delivery may require clear access and adequate space.
**Access requirements**
To avoid delays or extra fees, please ensure:
- Clear access (driveway/pathway) and safe entry
- Doorways, halls, and stairwells are measured and suitable
- Any stairs, tight access, lifts, or complex carries are disclosed in advance
**If access is difficult**
- If delivery requires stairs, special handling, or extra time, we may need to quote an **additional carry fee** (we’ll confirm before proceeding).
## Missed Deliveries / Rescheduling
If nobody is available to receive the delivery during the confirmed window:
- The delivery may be returned to our workshop, and
- A **re-delivery fee of $70** will apply to reschedule.
## Inspection on Arrival
Please inspect your item on delivery/collection where possible.
- If there are any concerns, notify us **as soon as possible** (ideally within 24 hours).
## Delivery & Collection for Custom Pieces
For made-to-order/custom furniture builds:
- Delivery/collection timing is confirmed once your piece is completed and ready.
- Any special delivery requirements should be discussed early in the build process.
